The remainder of the basement is mechanical including a work shop tinkers room and huge crawl space providing abundant storage. This private hilltop setting is lightly timbered, and of natural seasonal color, wild flowers and is at the end of the road, and very quiet. There are endless views to the valley floor, Flathead Lake, Polson Bay and expansive vista of the Mission Mountains. Only minutes to Polson, on paved roads. Heirs of the Parson family proudly offer the following details about the home that set it apart! Jon and Margaret Parsons home was featured in Montana Designs Magazine published in 1996. With a total unit R-value of R-9, it's actually 33 percent lighter than triple-pane products. Fireplace Rocks came from Chief Cliff, near Big Arm. Insert is * xtrodinair catalytic 44 Elite ZC wood burning fireplace which boasts EPA approval and Posi-Pressure™ heating through a quiet, remotely located 388 CFM fan which nicely circulates the heat throughout the home. The propane stove was installed simply to maintain an even temperature in the home while owners traveled. This home is filled with fond memories, love and an abiding respect.
