This area is popular for hunting deer, elk, bear and so on, and a fabulous area for wildlife, photography, and birds. Winter sports abound. 250 miles of groomed snowmoble trails is epic. The mountains offer hiking, trekking, and llama packing and close to the entrance to the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Surrounded by USFS and BLM land this is an outdoor enthusiast's dream. The community itself is friendly and a great place to raise kids if you have them.
