Round Pond Village is a special place. It evolved as a small fishing community dependent on the lobster for survival. A sweep of lawn runs between the two buildings towards the harbor and a walking path leads down onto the rocks and beach where one can sit, swim or launch kayaks. Though there are no official approvals, it appears that there is a good opportunity to put in a deep water dock.
