The building at 407 was purchased in 1988. It was a retail bookstore up to 2018 when it was briefly a residence for the owner, then continued to be warehouse space for the bookstore. Kalamazoo Township. Zoning is RM-2 which includes all the businesses along West Main St. You can put a business, retail space, home office or residence in this space with review by the Township zoning people.The addition to 407 was added in 2000 increasing the square footage to about 3800. The large lower level room has an egress door with exterior steps to the outside. The lots for 407 and 411 werecombined into 1 legal description. 407 is 66' deep and 411 is 132' deep. The exterior is vinyl siding.Electrical, roof, windows and other components were all updated at that time.Additionally, a new furnace/AC was installed in 2019. Roof work was done a couple times in the last 10 years. The water heater is currently not working, but will be replaced. The kitchen was finished and the stove andrefrigerator were purchased in 2018. The bathroom was remodeled at the same time. Plumbing was added for a washer and dryer on the main floor and plumbing is set up for water conditioning and reverse osmosis water for the kitchen sink. The 2 nd floor was remodeled in 2018 as an owner's bedroom suite. It was down to the stud reconstruction. The wood accent walls are ?? inch tongue and groove aged siding. There is an exterior sign frame with electric on the south side of the building for retail signage. The strip of green area on the south side was a garden space when the bookstore was operating there. The building at 411 was purchased around 1995. It has had major restructure work through the years. It has 3 bedrooms and a bath on the 2 nd floor. There is a full bath, with new shower on the main floor with 4 th bedroom or den. There is a gas stove and refrigerator included. Basement has had water seal and Dryloc treatment on the walls. Mechanicals are all updated. The furnace and water heater are 2 years old and the A/C will be installed for the buyer.
